About Us
Wellington Country Park is a large, woodland‑based country park set across about 350 acres near Riseley on the Berkshire/Hampshire border — a destination created to offer families a blend of adventure, nature and outdoor fun. Established in 1974, the park was designed as a welcoming green escape with wide open spaces, woodland trails and a peaceful lakeside area.
The park features a mix of attractions for young children and families: a friendly animal farm, a miniature railway, adventure playgrounds with climbing frames and slides, a splash zone for warm weather, sand and water play areas, mini‑golf, a soft‑play zone for toddlers, and themed zones like a fairy/enchanted forest and even a dinosaur trail — giving a sense of magic and discovery for little explorers.
With plenty of woodland walking paths, picnic spots, lakeside views, seasonal events and camping or caravan‑pitch facilities for overnight stays, Wellington Country Park combines relaxed countryside ambience with playful family‑oriented activity.
