About Us

Spilmans is a family-run farm based at Church Farm, Sessay, North Yorkshire. They manage 700 acres — growing soft fruits, asparagus, pumpkins and other seasonal produce, alongside rearing their own lamb and beef. During summer the farm invites visitors to pick their own strawberries, raspberries and other fruit, while autumn brings a popular pumpkin season. On-site amenities include a farm shop stocking fresh seasonal produce, dairy, eggs, home-reared meats and locally made goods. There is also a café plus a play barn and outdoor adventure areas, making it a welcoming venue for families and groups seeking country‑style activities. Spilmans blends traditional farming values with visitor‑friendly experiences, offering produce from field to fork and a chance to enjoy working farmland alongside leisure and seasonal celebrations.
