About Us
Sacrewell Farm is a heritage farm and countryside attraction near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, run by the William Scott Abbott Trust. The site spans over 550 acres and includes a beautifully restored 18th‑century working watermill, gardens, woodland and farmland. Visitors can meet a variety of rare‑breed and heritage animals such as pigs, sheep, goats, alpacas, ponies and more, which gives insight into traditional farming and animal husbandry. The farm offers a mixture of indoor and outdoor play – including an indoor soft‑play “Playbarn” and outdoor play areas, as well as nature trails and sensory/market gardens. For those curious about farming heritage, there are displays of old farm equipment, historic structures and opportunities to learn about past agricultural life. Add to this seasonal events, a café with locally sourced food and picnic areas, and Sacrewell becomes a welcoming escape for families, school groups, and anyone interested in countryside life, heritage and nature.
