About Us

Playdale Farm Park is a family‑friendly farm attraction near Scarborough, located in Cayton on the Yorkshire coast. It welcomes visitors with a combination of animal encounters and both indoor and outdoor play — perfect for a fun, all‑weather day out.

Children and adults can meet and feed a variety of farm animals, including goats, sheep, alpacas, ponies, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs and more in barns and interactive paddocks. For rainy or cooler days, there’s a huge indoor playbarn featuring a soft‑play area, a tractor‑zone for kids, undercover sand‑pits, a straw barn and a toddler zone.

Outdoors, the park offers activities such as a pedal go‑kart track, climbing frames, zip‑wire and summer sledge runs, a frisbee‑golf course, outdoor play zones and picnic areas. On‑site amenities include a café for hot meals and snacks, a gift shop, accessible toilets and free parking.
