About Us

Mini Meadows Farm is a charming 12-acre children’s farm park on the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border, near Welford. It combines hands-on animal interaction with play and countryside exploration, offering a warm and affordable day out for families. Visitors can meet, feed, and get close to a variety of friendly farm animals in a welcoming and well-managed environment. The farm features both indoor and outdoor play zones — including a large wooden fort, a huge indoor sandpit, and an (currently temporarily closed) “Treetops” play area.

Mini Meadows also provides picnic areas, accessible for all guests, plus a café serving homemade cakes, light lunches, and proper coffee. Throughout the year, the farm hosts seasonal events and school-group activities. With free parking, easy access, and a commitment to accessibility, it’s a great rural escape that educates and entertains children while staying true to its ethical, family-driven values.
