About Us
Mead Open Farm is a charming, family-run farm attraction set across 30 acres in Bedfordshire, offering a fun and educational day out for all ages. Visitors can get hands-on with a variety of farm animals — from sheep and goats to alpacas and rabbits — through feeding, grooming and petting activities. Beyond the animals, there’s a wealth of play on offer: outdoor adventures including go-karts, crazy golf, climbing walls, and jumping pillows, and a huge indoor soft-play area called Shaggy’s PlayWorld.
Throughout the year, the farm hosts special seasonal events, such as lambing weekends, dinosaur-themed weeks, and Christmas experiences. The site is open daily (10 am–5 pm) and ticket price includes almost all activities. The farm also places a strong emphasis on accessibility, safety, and animal welfare, making it both a fun and responsible choice for a family day out.
