About Us
East Grange, located in High Shincliffe, Durham, has been a family-run farm since 1941. Originally a small dairy and arable farm, it has evolved over generations into a diversified agricultural enterprise. The farm grows wheat, barley, and beans, and maintains a flock of 300 North of England Mule sheep. Additionally, over 50 acres are dedicated to pollinator and wildlife-friendly environmental plantings. Beyond its core farming activities, East Grange offers seasonal experiences for visitors. In October, guests can enjoy a Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch; in August, a Summer Trail is available; and from late November to December, a Christmas barn sells fresh-cut, locally sourced Christmas trees, handmade wreaths, and decorations. These seasonal offerings provide the community with opportunities to engage with the farm and enjoy its produce and festive atmosphere.
