About Us
Cotswold Farm Park, founded in 1971 by Joe Henson and now run by his son Adam Henson, is a renowned centre for the conservation of rare and native British farm breeds. Set in the scenic Cotswolds, the park is home to over 50 rare breeds, including Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, Shetland ponies, and Highland cattle. Visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences such as feeding and grooming animals, watching daily demonstrations, and learning about sustainable farming practices. The park also offers extensive indoor and outdoor play areas for children, a sandpit, trails, and seasonal events including lambing, pig racing, and holiday workshops. With a family-friendly café serving homemade refreshments and a farm shop featuring local produce, Cotswold Farm Park combines education, conservation, and entertainment. Its welcoming environment ensures that every visitor, from young children to adults, enjoys an engaging, fun, and memorable day out in the countryside.
