About Us
Coombes Farm, a 1,000-acre working farm nestled in the South Downs National Park, has been family-run for over 120 years. Visitors can experience hands-on lambing sessions, with 800 ewes and 50 Sussex cows calving each spring. The farm also offers tractor rides, a 6-acre maize maze, and fishing at Passies Pond. Additional activities include pumpkin picking during October half-term and a farm shop selling locally produced meats. The farm is open daily, with seasonal events and activities providing a genuine insight into traditional farming life. Advance booking is recommended for certain experiences.
