About Us

Clearwell Farm is a family-run working farm near Cardiff with roots stretching back over a century, run by the Phillips family and established in 1911. Originally focused on traditional agriculture, the farm has diversified into a seasonal visitor destination that celebrates the rural landscape and offers a range of outdoor experiences. Every summer visitors can explore vast sunflower fields and a sprawling maize maze, enjoy live music and social events, and soak up scenic views in a relaxed, countryside setting. In autumn, Clearwell Farm welcomes guests to pick their own pumpkins from tens of thousands growing in the fields and take part in themed seasonal activities. During the winter, the farm opens its Christmas tree plantation for families to choose and cut their own real tree while enjoying festive treats and entertainment. Through all its activities, Clearwell combines working farmland with memorable experiences that appeal to all ages.
