About Us
Clandon Park, located in West Clandon, Surrey, is an 18th-century Palladian mansion designed by Venetian architect Giacomo Leoni for the Onslow family. Completed in the 1730s, it is renowned for its architectural grandeur and was once considered one of England's most complete examples of Palladian design. In April 2015, a devastating fire severely damaged the house, leaving it a shell. The National Trust has since undertaken the Clandon Park Project, aiming to conserve the building in its fire-damaged state while restoring select areas, including the Speaker’s Parlour. The site is expected to reopen in 2029.
